Step 1

Section off the top of your hair up to your ears and clip away on top of your head.

Tip: It's best to try this style on hair that isn't freshly washed, as it will hold the curl better.

Step 2

Now take your hair into 1 inch sections and twist tightly around the barrel. It's best to use a medium sized barrel for this style. Hold the curl until you feel the heat leave it, and the let it fall gently.

Tip: use a flexible hold hairspray after each stage of this process to hold the curls in place.

Step 3

Take the next section of hair to just above your ears and clip away on top of your head. Now repeat the curling process.

Step 4

Now clip away the top section of hair (your crown) and curl the leftover hair.

Step 5

Find your parting, and then backcomb your crown to add volume. Neaten and smooth this section with a tail comb and then curl.

‍

Step 6

Backcomb the front section of your hair at the root to add texture, then use the tail comb to smooth and neaten it. Curl this section and then pin to the side using a hair grip.

Finish off the look with a strong hold hairspray.
